02   ــــــــــــــــ
THE STARTING POINT

The in-room TV was more than a screen.

The project began with an incomplete WordPress/WooCommerce store whose design and structure required substantial work before it could support a complete online shopping experience.

Simply finishing the remaining pages would not address the wider challenge: how customers would discover products, navigate the catalogue and complete purchases — or how the business would manage the store after launch.

RawSolutions chose to rebuild the storefront from the ground up while retaining the existing e-commerce platform. The priority was to establish a clearer shopping experience and a more workable technical foundation, rather than extend an implementation that needed fundamental changes.

The starting decision: Rebuild the experience and its foundations — without changing technology simply for the sake of change.

03   ــــــــــــــــ
REBUILDING THE STORE

Rebuilding the storefront meant addressing the experience and the systems behind it.

RawSolutions redesigned and rebuilt the store from the ground up using WordPress,WooCommerce and Elementor Pro. The team developed the new design direction and page structure, rather than working from a pre-existing design supplied by the client.

The work went beyond visual presentation. It connected how customers would explore the store with the underlying setup needed to support its operation.

Three areas formed the foundation of the rebuild.

01 — Store Structure & Navigation
Developing the category structure and navigation to give customers a clearer way to explore the product catalogue.
02 — Shopping Interface
Redesigning the homepage and product-page layouts, with attention to product presentation, responsive design and the steps towards purchase.
03 — Technical Foundations
Cleaning the existing database, migrating the store to a managed hosting environment and configuring the WordPress/WooCommerce environment and supporting components.

04   ــــــــــــــــ
PREPARING FOR COMMERCE

Turning a rebuilt storefront into a working sales channel.

A redesigned store is only one part of an e-commerce launch. To begin selling, the business needed an organised product catalogue, consistent information across two languages and a checkout
process connected to a suitable payment solution.

RawSolutions brought these elements together, preparing more than 500 products for the Turkish
and English versions of the store.

The work covered product organisation, image preparation and optimisation, translation of supplied
Turkish descriptions into English, and the setup of essential purchasing functionality.

Three areas were central to preparing the store for launch.

500+
Products Prepared
Product information and imagery prepared for the web
Turkish & English
Bilingual Shopping Content
Customer Orders & Payments
Customer orders received and payments successfully processed
01
Product Catalogue
Preparing and organising 500+ products, including category assignments, product information and web-optimised imagery.
02
Bilingual Shopping Content
Making product information available in Turkish and English, with translated descriptions and consistent product presentation across both language versions.
03
Checkout & Payments
Configuring the purchase process and integrating a payment solution that met the business's requirements.
The completed store was launched and began receiving customer orders, including successfully processed payments.
The outcome was more than a published website — it was an operational online sales channel.

05   ــــــــــــــــ
ONGOING E-COMMERCE OPERATIONS

From project delivery to ongoing technical responsibility.

After launch, RawSolutions continued supporting the store through an ongoing technical
maintenance and development arrangement. The work shifted from preparing the platform for
launch to supporting its day-to-day technical operation and responding to issues and changes as
they arose.

An e-commerce store depends on more than its visible pages. Hosting configurations, plugins,
caching and payment-related functionality can all affect the customer journey.

RawSolutions worked across these connected components, investigating technical issues andcoordinating changes with attention to their potential impact on the shopping experience and purchasing process.

Three areas defined the ongoing work.

01 — Platform & Infrastructure
Managing the hosting environment, backups, WordPress and WooCommerce maintenance, plugin updates and supporting technical configurations.
02 — Commerce-Critical Troubleshooting
Investigating compatibility, caching and functional issues, including problems affecting important shopping processes such as cart and checkout.
03 — Technical Coordination & Change Management
Handling technical fixes, reviewing proposed solutions and coordinating with hosting support when needed, while managing ongoing website and catalogue changes.

06   ــــــــــــــــ
CONTINUOUS OPTIMISATION

Adapting the shopping experience as the business evolved.

Launching the store established the foundation, but its shopping experience and commercial functionality continued to evolve as the business introduced new products, promotions and requirements.

RawSolutions worked on practical improvements that connected customer-facing experiences with the store’s changing commercial needs.

The focus extended beyond visual updates to how products were presented, how customers interacted with the store and how promotional and shipping requirements were implemented

Three areas shaped the ongoing improvements.

01 — Mobile Shopping Experience
Refining mobile product-page layouts and purchase-related interactions to address usability and product-presentation needs.

02 — Product Experience & Merchandising
Adapting product presentation to accommodate new offerings, including a trial pack, alongside updates to homepage content and promotional merchandising.
03 — Promotions & Shipping Logic
Implementing and adjusting discount rules, promotional conditions and shipping requirements, with attention to how these functions interacted with the shopping cart and checkout.
These changes reflected a practical approach to e-commerce improvement: adapting the store to real business requirements while considering their effect on the customer’s path to purchase.
The store was not treated as a finished deliverable, but as a digital sales channel that continued to develop after launch.

07   ــــــــــــــــ
VISIBILITY, MEASUREMENT & ACQUISITION

Connecting the online store with search, data and customer acquisition.

Supporting the store’s commercial activity extended beyond its shopping experience and technical
operations. The business also needed ways to make its products discoverable, reach potential customers and understand how its digital channels were performing..

RawSolutions worked across search optimisation, content development, conversion tracking,
performance analysis and paid advertising, connecting these activities with the store’s products
and purchasing journey.

Three areas shaped this work.

01
Search Visibility & Content
Preparing and refining SEO-related page information, including focus keyphrases, meta titles and descriptions, alongside updates to product and website content.
The work also included developing informational blog articles in Turkish and English, supporting the store with content relevant to its products and potential customers.
Google Search Console and Merchant Center were also part of the supporting search and product visibility setup.
02
Conversion Tracking & Performance Analysis
Using Google Tag Manager to configure and validate e-commerce events and purchase conversions, alongside Google Analytics and supporting measurement tools.
Performance analysis included comparing advertising reports and analytics data with orders recorded in the store, investigating tracking and attribution differences, and using the findings to inform campaign decisions.
03
Paid Customer Acquisition
Managing paid acquisition across Meta Ads and, subsequently, Google Ads, with both channels contributing to recorded sales activity.
Campaign performance was reviewed to inform targeting, budget allocation and ongoing advertising decisions.
Together, these activities connected the e-commerce platform with the channels and measurement needed to support product discovery, customer acquisition and informed marketing decisions.
The work demonstrated how e-commerce development, marketing and performance measurement can operate as connected parts of the same digital sales channel.

WHAT THE WORK DEMONSTRATES

What this project reveals about our approach to e-commerce.

This project required more than completing an unfinished online store. It involved making practical
technology decisions, preparing the platform for real transactions and supporting its changing
technical and commercial requirements after launch.

Four aspects of the work reflect RawSolutions’ approach.

01 — Rebuilding With Purpose
Choosing to rebuild the shopping experience and technical foundations while retaining WordPress and WooCommerce, rather than changing platforms without a clear business need.
03 — Taking Responsibility Beyond Launch
Supporting the live store through ongoing technical management, commerce-critical troubleshooting and coordination of changes affecting its operation.
02 — Connecting Experience With Commerce
Bringing together storefront design, a bilingual product catalogue, checkout and payments to turn an incomplete implementation into a functioning online sales channel.
04 — Connecting Technology, Marketing & Data
Adapting the shopping experience to changing business needs while supporting search visibility, paid acquisition, conversion tracking and performance analysis.
